During the monsoon there are frequent, heavy rains and thunderstorms, but flooding is not common. The winter months of November to February are mild and pleasant, with average temperatures ranging from 15–18 °C and with little or no humidity.

Hawa Mahal: - It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, and designed by Lal Chand Ustad in the form of the crown of Krishna, the Hindu god. Its unique five-storey exterior is also akin to the honeycomb of the beehive with its 953 small windows called jharokhas that are decorated with intricate latticework. It is built by red and pink sandstone, the palace is situated on the main thoroughfare in the heart of Jaipur’s business centre. It forms part of the City Palace, and extends to the Zenana or women's chambers, the chambers of the harem.

Jantar Mantar: - It is modeled after the one that he had built at the Mughal capital of Delhi. It was built by Empress Noor Jahan, the beloved wife of Princes saleem or Jahangir, in the memory of her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg, who was the Prime-Minister of the Mughal Court. It was started in 1622 A.D. and was completed in1629 A.D. Mirza Ghiyas beg belonged to a rich family of Tehran, but after the death of his father, fortunes parted from his family and he became poor. He came to Akbar’s court for a job and on his way from Tehran to India-Mehr-un-Nisa was born to him. But the poor parents left her in the desert as they were unable to feed her due to extreme poverty.
